A Travel Bullet Journal is a great way to record places you've been and things you've seen. Traveling is a favorite pastime of mine. I love to see new places and revisit my favorite places. Bullet Journaling fits travel so well. You can take 15 or 20 minutes and create a spread and then get right back to enjoying your trip.

What is a Travel Bullet Journal?
A travel bullet journal is a bullet journal that captures the places you visit, the things that you see, and how you get there! It's a fun way to record your memories and keep track of what you do and see. Creating a travel bullet journal is simple, and following the guidelines of Bullet Journaling 101, you can create a beautiful memory of the places you go.
Starting a Travel Bullet Journal
It's not difficult to begin, grab a bullet journal, and start creating! This is your journal, make it yours. Create spreads that you enjoy and can easily fit into your travels. Bullet Journaling isn't meant to interrupt your travel, but to enhance it by having a place to store your memories.
Travel Spreads
Creating travel spreads for your bullet journal doesn't have to be complicated. You can create your own spreads or use spreads that you purchase. Whichever you decide don't let the journal take over your travel. Enjoy your travels and add to your journal leisurely. Don't let the journal take over your trip. You don't want to miss the great places you visit because you're set on having a perfect journal.
Creating your own spreads is a great way to personalize your journal. If you don't have any idea where to start Pinterest is a great tool for inspiration. Anything bullet journal or travel related can be found there. I usually find something I really like and then add a few things to make it my own.
My Travel Bullet Journal
I love the traditional bullet journals but for my travel bullet journal, I am using the Happy Planner Notes. I love the disc-bound system that Happy Planners use, and it makes it easier for me to create my spreads because I can remove the page. Also if I make a mistake that I can't correct, I can easily remove the page and start over. (I'm sure none of you can relate to that! LOL)

I have created a cover page for my journal, and I am in the process of going back and adding some of my favorite trips. It's never wrong to go back and relive the trips that you have enjoyed. I'm no artist, but I'm trying to learn to draw! This is my interpretation of a classic VW bus!

Adding Embellishments to Your Journal
Adding embellishments to a bullet journal isn't traditional, but a travel journal begs for more! You want to keep your memories and moments and there's no better place than your travel bullet journal. It's like scrapbooking on a smaller scale.
Travel Quotes
One thing I like to include in my bullet journals is quotes relating to the topic. In this case, travel quotes. My favorite quote is, Not all who wander are lost If you like including quotes in your journals then Adventures in You has a great post with several different quotes to use in your journals. The perfect quote can make your journal spread when you aren't sure what to include. Including photos in your travel bullet journal is a great way to record your memories. Remember this is not a traditional bullet journal so going outside the box is ok! There are several printers on the market that can print small pictures perfect for your journal. One printer is the Canon Selphy. This printer prints 4×6 prints and you can make a collage and get 4 small photos out of one printer sheet. Another printer is the HP Sprocket. The Sprocket is another small printer that prints 2×3″ photos. I have this printer and have used it quite a bit. It prints well, and the color quality is good. Adding photos to your journal is a great way to see your favorite places again. Enjoy the journey, wherever you go. traveling is fun and the places you go should be remembered. For me, there's nothing like exploring new places and seeing new things. Keeping a travel bullet journal is a great way to keep your travels fresh and alive in your memory. Your journal doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be a reflection of you. Enjoy your travels and don't forget to track those memories of the amazing places you visit!
